This Is Toxic started as a joke between friends who kept saying "I should write them a letter" and never did.

Then we realized: what if someone actually made that easy? What if there was a beautiful, premium, slightly unhinged service that let you say exactly what you needed to say, handwritten on gorgeous stationery, sealed up, and mailed?

Not threats. Not hate. Just honest, cathartic, sometimes hilarious letters for people who deserve to hear it. Or people you just want to make laugh. Or confuse. We're flexible.

We believe in the power of physical mail. In a world of DMs and ghosting, a real letter hits different. It says: I thought about this. I took the time. I paid actual money to tell you this.

Every letter is reviewed for safety. We're a catharsis brand, not a harassment service. We take content moderation seriously and reject anything that crosses the line into genuine harm.
