1. About Our Service

This Is Toxic is a novelty letter-writing and physical mailing service based in the United States. Customers select or compose a message, and we handwrite it on premium stationery, seal it, and mail it via USPS to a designated recipient. This is a novelty gifting and catharsis brand. We are not a harassment, threat, or intimidation service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our service. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Products and Pricing

All products and pricing are displayed on our website in US Dollars (USD). Prices include the cost of letter creation, stationery, and standard USPS mailing. Add-ons (premium paper, rush processing, wax seals, etc.) are priced separately and clearly displayed before checkout. There are no hidden fees. The total price is shown in your cart before payment.

4. Order Fulfillment

Standard processing: 3-5 business days, plus USPS delivery time (typically 2-5 business days domestically). Rush processing: ships within 24 hours of content approval, with USPS tracking included. International shipping is available but may take longer. You will receive email updates at each stage: order confirmed, content approved, and letter mailed.

5. Content Review and Moderation

All message content is subject to review before production. We reserve the right to reject and refund any order that violates our Prohibited Content Policy. Prohibited content includes: threats, hate speech, doxxing, stalking language, blackmail, sexual coercion, illegal intimidation, content targeting minors, and any material designed to cause genuine harm. If your content is rejected, you will receive a full refund and may revise and resubmit.

6. Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card or payment information on our servers. By completing a purchase, you authorize us to charge the total amount displayed at checkout.

7. Refunds

Full refunds are available if your order has not entered production, if your content is rejected during moderation, or if there is a processing error on our end. No refunds are available once a letter has been mailed and delivered, if you provided an incorrect address, or if you change your mind after production begins. 9. Intellectual Property

All content on thisistoxic.com, including logos, copy, design, and branding, is the property of This Is Toxic and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Customer-submitted message content remains the property of the customer.

10. Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint about your order or our service, please contact us at hello@thisistoxic.com. We will work to resolve disputes promptly and in good faith. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.

11. Advertising Disclaimer

This Is Toxic is a novelty gifting and catharsis brand. All advertising and promotional materials accurately represent our products and services. Product images on our website and in advertising materials represent the style and quality of our physical letters. Individual results may vary based on selected options and customization.

12. Limitation of Liability

This Is Toxic is not responsible for any consequences resulting from the delivery of a letter to a recipient. Our service delivers physical mail on behalf of customers. We do not control recipient reactions and are not liable for any outcomes after a letter is delivered.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance.
